Program Policies

Code of Ethics
A signed certification Code of Ethics is required to become certified. Those renewing January and July 2006 do not need to sign the Code to renew. |

Plant Maintenance Grade IV Split into Electrical/Instrumentation Grade IV and Mechanical Technologist Grade IV
Beginning January 2007 the single management level Plant Maintenance Grade IV will be replaced by two separate specialty certifications: Mechanical Technologist Grade IV and Electrical/Instrumentation Grade IV. |

Handbooks
Candidate Handbooks summarize qualifying criteria, test content areas, study references, and much more. All certificate applicants should be familiar with the candidate handbook for their vocation. |

Applying for Certification
Tests are administered within quarterly windows throughout the year. The deadline to apply is one month before each testing window.
