Signed
Code of Ethics Now Required to Renew Certificates
Beginning January 2006 all
individuals renewing their certificates need to sign the
Certification Code of Ethics. The Code will be sent with
renewal reminders. See the Code
of Ethics page for more information.
Trainer and Upcoming Training Event Lists
CWEA has pre-approved a number of water, wastewater, and
safety training organizations. If you receive training
from one of these organizations, we will accept the
contact hours they issue as long as the training is
related to your certification. The same applies to all
accredited colleges, universities and vocational
schools. The lists also include some upcoming training
events. Check the list for your state below.

Training
Relevancy Chart
The Training Relevancy chart shows what type of training
is acceptable for each CWEA certified vocation. If you
are attending a training by a Contact Hour approved
training provider, then use this chart to see if it is
acceptable for your vocation. This chart is also useful
for trainers who need to determine the relevancy of
their training.
In-House
Training
You can use the training you get at work to satisfy the
continuing education requirement.
CWEA
Conferences
Check the CWEA
conference listings for a schedule of upcoming
conferences and training events.
Other
Training Opportunities
If you are interested in a training event that does not
fit one of the above categories, you can ask the
training organization to get their program pre-approved
by CWEA. Then you can be certain that we will accept
your contact hours. If the training organization cannot
or will not seek pre-approval, then you can contact us
and we'll do what we can to get it approved anyway. Just
send us an email or give us a call.
